The initial $10,000 was provided by the Milltown Revitalization Committee, and the remainder through private sponsorships. The cost of the project was approximately $40,000.

When will the clock be completed?

How will my dedication be displayed on the real clock?

The clock will have 4 bronze plaques affixed to the base. Names will be cast in raised gold type on a green background. There will be four plaques, one for each side of the clock. An example can be seen here..

How is the clock powered? Does it light? Chime?

The clock is powered by standard 120V AC current. Its energy-efficient design uses electricity only 6 seconds of every minute, to advance the hands. The clock lights are energy-efficient and easily serviced flourescent bulbs that are triggered by a photosensor. The clock does not chime; the nearby St. Paul's Church chimes on the hour, and additional chimes were deemed unnecessary.

Does the clock adjust for Daylight Saving Time?

The clock adjusts automatically for Daylight Saving Time. In addition, the clock will not run during power outages, but will automatically adjust to the correct time when power is restored.
